These Affiliate Terms govern participation in the DuoReels affiliate program and supplement the Terms of Service. By activating an affiliate account or accepting a partner invitation, you agree to these terms.
1. Program overview
The affiliate program lets eligible users earn commissions for referring new paying customers to the Service through referral links.
2. Eligibility
You must have an account in good standing and comply with these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, and applicable law and advertising regulations.
3. Standard affiliates
Logged-in users may activate a standard affiliate account from the affiliate dashboard, subject to the program’s default commission rate and any approval requirement we configure.
4. Partner / influencer affiliates
Partner affiliates are created or approved by us, may receive a custom commission rate, and join by accepting an admin invitation.
5. Affiliate activation
Activation generates a unique referral code and link and creates your affiliate record. You must accept these terms and agree to disclose your affiliate relationship when promoting the Service.
6. Affiliate status
- Pending — awaiting approval where approval is required.
- Active — eligible to earn commissions.
- Suspended — cannot earn new commissions; existing commissions may be held for review.
- Rejected — application not accepted.
- Disabled — account closed.
7. Referral links and cookies
Your referral link sets a referral cookie identifying your affiliate code. See the Cookie Policy. You may not place referral cookies through deceptive means (e.g., cookie stuffing).
8. Attribution window and last-click
Referrals are attributed using a last-click model within a defined attribution window. If a visitor clicks multiple affiliate links, the most recent valid click within the window generally receives attribution.
9. Signup and purchase attribution
A referred signup is attributed to your affiliate account when a new user registers with a valid referral cookie. A commission is created when an attributed user makes a qualifying purchase, provided your affiliate account is active and the transaction is not a self-referral.
10. Commission rates
Your applicable commission rate is shown in your affiliate dashboard. Rates may differ for standard and partner affiliates and may change prospectively.
11. Pending commissions and hold period
Commissions are created as pending and are subject to a hold period before they become eligible for payout. Commissions are not final until approved.
12. Approval
After the hold period passes (or upon admin approval), commissions move to approved status and become eligible for a future payout, subject to the minimum payout threshold.
13. Reversal
Commissions may be reversed at any time before payout if the underlying transaction is refunded, charged back, disputed, fraudulent, or otherwise invalid.
- Refunds
- Chargebacks
- Payment disputes
- Fraud or abuse
- Invalid or ineligible transactions
14. Paid commission clawback / review
If a refund or chargeback occurs on a transaction whose commission was already paid, we may review the matter and seek clawback, or offset future payouts. Such cases are flagged for admin review.
15. Manual payouts
Payouts are processed manually by our team. Recording a payout in the admin system reflects a payment we have made or arranged; it is not automatic money movement and does not itself transfer funds.
16. Minimum payout threshold
Approved, unpaid commissions are eligible for payout once they meet the minimum payout threshold configured for the program.
17. Payout information responsibility
You are responsible for providing and maintaining accurate payout details (e.g., a valid payout email/method). We are not responsible for payouts misdirected due to inaccurate information you provide.
18. Taxes
You are responsible for any taxes on commissions you receive and for providing any tax information legally required for us to pay you.
19. Prohibited affiliate activity
- Self-referrals or referring your own alternate accounts.
- Fake accounts, fraudulent signups, or fabricated activity.
- Misleading claims, fake reviews, or fabricated personal results.
- Spam, unsolicited messaging, or scam promotion.
- Cookie stuffing or forced/deceptive clicks.
- Impersonation or unauthorized use of our trademarks or brand.
- Bidding on our brand terms in paid search where we prohibit it.
- Coupon/discount abuse.
- Promotion alongside illegal, infringing, or unsafe content.
20. Required disclosures
You must clearly and conspicuously disclose your affiliate relationship with DuoReels wherever you promote referral links, consistent with applicable advertising rules. See the Affiliate Disclosure Policy.
21. No income guarantees
Participation does not guarantee any commissions, income, or results.
22. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate affiliate participation and withhold or reverse commissions for suspected abuse, fraud, policy violations, or at our reasonable discretion. Suspending an affiliate stops new commissions and may place pending commissions under review.
23. Admin decisions and audit review
Affiliate decisions — approvals, reversals, payouts, and fraud findings — are subject to admin review and logging. Our determinations are final.
24. Changes to the program
We may change commission rates, attribution windows, hold periods, thresholds, and these terms prospectively.
