This Affiliate Disclosure Policy explains what affiliate links are and how affiliates must disclose them when promoting DuoReels. It exists for transparency and to guide affiliates.
1. What affiliate links are
An affiliate link is a referral link that identifies an affiliate so that DuoReels can attribute referred signups and purchases and pay commissions where eligible.
2. Why disclosure is required
Many jurisdictions require that material connections (such as earning a commission) be disclosed to your audience. Disclosure builds trust and is required by our Affiliate Terms.
3. How to disclose
Disclose clearly, in plain language, before or near the link or endorsement, in a place your audience will actually see it — not hidden in a bio, footer, or behind a "more" link.
4. Examples of acceptable disclosure
- “I may earn a commission if you sign up through my link.”
- “This is my DuoReels affiliate link.”
- “Affiliate link — I earn a commission at no extra cost to you.”
5. Placement
Disclosures must be clear, visible, and close to the link or endorsement. Vague tags alone may be insufficient if they are not clearly understood as an affiliate disclosure.
6. Platform-specific responsibility
You are responsible for following each platform’s own disclosure tools and rules (for example, paid-partnership labels) in addition to this policy.
7. No misleading claims
Do not make misleading claims about DuoReels, and do not present fabricated personal results or earnings as typical or guaranteed.
8. Enforcement
Affiliates who fail to disclose properly may be suspended or removed from the program and may have commissions withheld or reversed.
